Worship is central to all we do at First UMC in Freehold. There are two Sunday morning opportunities to join together to worship the Lord, both very different in feel.
The contemporary service, at 8:30 a.m. is led by Pastor Ramon with help from the congregation. Music is offerered by the talented musicians of the "Joyful Noise" praise band. Children are often invited forward to join the band by playing various percussion instruments. A Children's Message is also a part of the service. Come prepared for a lively, uplifting experience that is enjoyed by all ages!
Our 11 a.m. traditional service offers a more quiet, contemplative experience with an always thought-provoking message from our pastor. Music is led by Annabell Minty and the choir who provide us with beautiful anthems and lead us in hymns, both new and old favorites. A Children's Message is also part of the service. Join us for a very special way to start your week!
There are many other worship opportunities throughout the year, especially during Advent and Holy Week, as well as Ash Wednesday and Thanksgiving.
Summer worship begins at 9:30 a.m. from mid-June through August and is generally a combination of both contemporary and traditional music. Our calendar will provide the specific start and end dates for the revised schedule.
